Gene Rardin was there for you in 2006 and 2008 to make sure the 16th District retained the type of moderate representation which reflects the District family values.
He is running for re-election because he continues to believe the State Legislature has been too focused on partisan issues and political power plays, instead of the really important every-day needs of Kansas families.
Gene believes that Kansas should always remain a great place to raise a family, start a business, get a quality job and a great education.
Gene Rardin is the one candidate you can count on:
| "I hope to see you as I make my way around the 16th House District this summer and fall. If we do not have the opportunity to meet in person, please feel free to contact me anytime. Your feedback and guidance are essential for me to better represent our district and the state.” |
- To act to reduce unemployment and create 175,000 new jobs with plans like the 10-year transportation plan, T-Works
- To cut government wasteful spending (over $1 billion in recent cuts) and make sure we're focusing on key priorities like education, the disabled, the elderly, good roads and safe neighborhoods.
- To keep taxes low and fair (voted for over $200 million in tax cuts for business, seniors and home owners.)
- To fight to make sure our public schools and universities are the best they can be and fully accountable
- To take the lead in encouraging clean-energy economic development and conservation to meet the needs of Kansas citizens and insure the growth of quality jobs.
- To stop illegal immigration by cracking down on employers who knowingly hire undocumented workers
- To work across the aisle to accomplish initiatives which focus on the real needs of everyday Kansas citizens and not special interest squabbles and power-plays.
