There is difference between Gene Rardin's view of Kansas Family Values and that of his opponent. Gene believes that the role of our Kansas Government is to protect and help people live happier and more successful everyday lives - not to coerce them on issues of faith and personal privacy.

Gene believes that Topeka doesn't need another legislator who wants to impose his personal ideology on the functions of Kansas' government. Gene Rardin believes that every citizen should have the right to exercise their own beliefs free from coercion and threat by a vocal minority.

As a property owner and tax payer, Gene believes in low and fair taxes. Gene Rardin tempers that belief with an eye to the current and future welfare of all Kansans. Gene knows that reasonable and fair taxation is necessary to avoid irresponsibly passing our debts on to our children and grandchildren while still paying for all of the things that good government should and must do.
